July 2017 - Salt Springs

Salt Springs, Florida Campground is Federal National Park.
Susan and the kids stayed here while I went to work.
Beautiful springs flowing and it is cold straight out of the ground.
Salt Springs has daily pull ins plus registration online at recreation.gov.
Nice peaceful place with no WIFI and ATT signal is none. We bought a Verizon cell phone for 10 bucks and a 15 dollar 300 minute card and it worked great.

Highway 19 heading south out of Palatka  Florida.

I do not think I liked this campground much because of small paved spaces about 8ft wide and barely long enough to park RV and two vehicles in it while not parking on the grass. we could not use any other lot next to us to park but could have used the over flow lot back in the trees. they charge $6.00 per person to swim which is called day use. even my family visiting the campground had to pay 50 bucks for day use. most other campgrounds charge a lot less than that.

This spot #13 is about 40 feet total length with rear end of trailer jacks in the grass. Black pavement sure got my feet dirty.
This is not us in the water but it is a nice picture of the springs.
