We stopped Watson Lake to look at the Sign Forest again. We stopped here on the way to Alaska.
We drove 612 miles in 13 hours to get thru Canada because there just was nothing to stop for except a few things. Canada has beauty in the hills but the gravel roads are bad and the gas is nearly $6.00 US per gallon.
The Motorhome Experiments license plate.
My rock hound wife put this rock there below someone's Florida plate.
Hope you can read this about how the sign forest started.
Moving on down the road.
Buffalo or Bison but he is big hanging out along the road.
More Bison next to the roadway.
I almost did not see him, blended right in.
Checking the water temp again.
I had to check it too.
This moose was about to cross the road when we came around the corner he hauled butt.
These sheep were coming down from the hill and others were up higher than this picture shows.
We went down gravel roads like this below and when I went around the left turn a semi log truck with no rear fenders came flying toward me slinging rocks everywhere. Broke the bathroom window, five cracks in the in both the motorhome and jeep windshields. Jeep windshield needs to be replaced since it is cracked from top to bottom.
Bears are everywhere in Canada but we did not see any in Alaska.
Got to order a new glass for the bathroom.
