Aug 14 2019 - 7.5 mile walk around the Saylorville Dam

We had a nice 7.5 mile walk on a paved bike trail to the Lake side of the Dam. Would have walked twice that distance but my feet were burning up, it is time to get new shoes.

This is the output side of the Dam.

This is the low side of the Dam where we are camping.

I saw a lot of these signs but did not call the number. We saw 10# on our walk.

We say a couple of these nice bridges.

Three boat ramps here.

There she goes again checking out the water temp.

This is a view of the high water side of the Dam.

There are a lot of boats here made by LUND>

This is where the water goes into the Dam or input side.

I was amazed at this bird and do not know if it is a hawk, falcon or eagle but it is NOT a buzzard.

The fellows caught a "Buffalo" fish and use a net on a long rope to get the fish out of the water up to the Dam sidewalk.

Look at the fish jumping out of the water and getting thrown around.

The Butterfly Garden.

This view of the high water side of the Dam id on the opposite side from the earlier picture.
Hope that makes sense.

This is a Fawn I named Bambi.
