We met a older lady in a old class C motorhome about 25 feet long who had her poodle with her. She suggested we stay at moon lake state park. We got there early like 3pm. Looked like the perfect place for bears and moose to show up. A family came with their boat and rode up around the lake several times and back. one little girl and her sister were running all over the place and rowing kayaks across the lake. barefooted in the water and just everywhere with no fear. Susan asked the mom if there are any animals to worry about. she said they live down the road and never see bears or moose here at the lake. she said there is no snakes here because it is too cold.
FasGas is in a lot of little towns. That is Lucy's RV and poodle.
Moon Lake campground was $18.00 per night with no hookups. We stayed one night.
