We took three hikes up the mountain to old abandoned mines in Joshua Tree National Park.
1 was about a 4 miles round trip, second was 2 miles round trip, third was a mile round trip but we almost got caught out there after dark since 5:30 pm was sunset but we made it back home to the RV safely.
