Jul 15 2019 - Hot Springs SD - Cold Brook COE campground

We left our nice little 24 Express campsite and drove to Hot springs SD. Beautiful country out here. We did see Bison along the road when we were driving thru parts of Custer Statue park and the Wind Caves. Wind caves has a broken elevator so no tours underground until late August.

Up the hill is the Pioneer Museum which I took pictures of the inside.

Entering the campground is thru a paved then dirt road and over some hills.

You zoom in then you can see cars parked at the beach on the other side.

Our $5 per night campsite, thank you Army Corps of Engineers.

 This big guy was on our way thru Custer State Park to Hot Springs.

They installed a new pit toilet making it two at this campground.

Oh yeah, we went to this winery about 30 minutes away, They make wine with Rhubarb.
