Went to the Negley Confederate Fort which is the worst maintained piece of history I have seen to date. They bush hog the area once a year according to the lady at the visitor center and the current Mayor will do nothing to support this city owned park.
We walked thru weeds to get to some areas but they do not want anything disturbed.
I do not know the name of this Fort but it is not much to see @ $15.00 for parking.
Fort Negley is neglected by the city.
