We went on a hike to the Exit Glacier.
Mosquitos were everywhere but we swatted them and ran so we did not get bit.
This is where the glacier was in 1296.
That is solid ice not snow. So it is just melting away and probably a mile thick.
We walked out thru the cold water stream to get on the river bed.
I was surprised that Susan climbed the cliffs to get this far.
This is as close as we could get because of the danger sign and two steep cliffs.
