Feb 18 2019 - Celia's Rainbow Garden and Raining in the Desert

Went riding around town and found a nice community family area with about a 4 mile paved path for bikes and walking, a skateboard park, an Remote Controlled Airplane airfield. We walked about 2.5 miles one day then 5 miles then next.

This plane came flying by lower than mountain tops at times. Must be hunting UFOs.
I heard from my friend that Danny Bapp - lead singer and founder of "Danny and the Juniors" died in this Yatch Club motel on April 3 1983. He shot himself in the head with a .25 caliber pistol.
The songs you may recognize is "At the Hop" and "Rock and Roll is here to stay".

This cost $2,495 dollars and the ball is $35 dollars. too much weight for the RV. Just walking thru some stores downtown.

 Walking path went by here.

This Celia's Rainbow Garden. no one is buried here but over the years sine Celia's death, people come and add rocks and other things to memorials of their loved ones.

Celia's teacher had all her classmates hand prints in the round wall. Look close to see them.

 Back at our desert campsite.

next day we walked again at the family park and saw this obstacle course and small four wheeler track.

A nice day but cool. Rain came in the evening.
